Originally from Ottawa, Canada, Stéphanie had previously spent a large part of her administrative career in the Tourism & Travel sector but realised she wanted to do her part in helping the community. This change of career brought her to a local hospice organisation where she did administration and fund development for a few years before she took some time to travel around Europe and the UK. Edinburgh captured her heart and later became her second home.
Curious to continue on her journey within the medical sector, and before joining the EMERGE Research team as a Research Admin and P.A., Stéphanie lent her office management experience to the non-profit/charity sector at an international children’s charity aimed at Paediatric only surgeries.
From there an interest for emergency medicine was spawned as well as the research behind it, Stéphanie found EMERGE and wanted to bring her administrative experience and support to the team so they can complete the necessary research to help those in need.
