Rebecca graduated from The University of Sheffield in 2019 with a Master’s in Public Health, following an undergraduate degree in Geography. She then went on to work in the Paediatric Research Team at Leeds Children’s Hospital.
It was at Leeds Children’s Hospital that she developed a love for working with patients and an ambition to help further their care through research and innovation. Afterwards she moved to Edinburgh and worked on the GenOMICC study which allowed her to experience the running of a large-scale study.
When the opportunity arose to work with patients again, she jumped at the chance! She is looking forward to seeing how the world of emergency medicine research differs from paediatrics and supporting the team at St John’s offers research opportunities to their patients.
